Praxis Works is a drivetrain component specialist founded in 2007 and based in Santa Cruz, California — with additional offices in Taiwan and the UK. Built on the philosophy of design, build, ride, and repeat, Praxis combines in-house engineering and testing with innovative manufacturing methods to produce some of the most well-regarded drivetrain components in cycling.

Their core range centres on cranks, chainrings, and bottom brackets across road, gravel, mountain, and eMTB disciplines — covering everything from entry-level through to professional-grade. Proprietary technologies include the Levatime shifting system for improved front derailleur performance, the X-Spider chainring interface, and the Praxis Collet bottom bracket system. Beyond drivetrain, the range also extends to pedals, stems, rims, and small parts and tools.

Praxis is also actively developing the HiT Gearbox — an internally geared drivetrain prototype designed for MTB, DH, commuter, and cargo applications — signalling continued innovation well beyond their established component range.
