Selle SMP is a family-run Italian saddle manufacturer founded in Padua in 1947, with over 75 years of continuous innovation in ergonomic saddle design. Every saddle is 100% handmade in Italy, built around the brand's "Designed on Your Body" philosophy — a science-backed approach engineered to eliminate pressure on sensitive soft tissue, nerves, and arteries while maximising performance and long-term riding health.

The defining features across the entire Selle SMP range are the distinctive eagle-beak nose profile and a fully open central channel, which together eliminate compression in the perineal and prostate areas regardless of riding position or hip rotation. Shells are constructed from carbon-reinforced nylon 12, with padding in a special foamed elastomer engineered for lasting elasticity, and covers available in either genuine Italian leather (black models) or high-performance microfibre (colour models). Rails are available in AISI 304 stainless steel or unidirectional carbon fibre depending on the model.

The range spans professional racing, road, gravel, MTB, triathlon, commuter, and e-bike disciplines, with models matched to rider sit bone width and pelvis size — and a dedicated Saddle Finder tool to guide selection. Key lines include the EVO (professional performance), the F30/F30c (maximum freedom of movement, including a compact triathlon-optimised version), and broader comfort-focused models like the Pro, Dynamic, Nymber, and Avant.
